How to Advertise a New Blog and and Build Blog Traffic.

Today, i want to show you ways, tips, hacks, strategies to advertise a low-traffic blog or newly created blog that has not gained any traffic.

We all know starting something new is sometimes seems difficult. Doesn’t matter what it is – a business, a website, a blog, a relationship, or a new job.

The difficulty of the new beginning is always there and it doesn’t get less until you’re absolutely sure about it.

But when it comes to developing a blog, not only you have to assure yourself, but also everyone else who is going to visit it. So, how to advertise a blog in its new beginning so that you can make your users believe in you? How to start with your first steps in building blog traffic ?

There are a few absolutely necessary things to be done, the rest are by your choice. Through the following eight steps you can advertise any blog type or newly created website.

Well, it depends on the type of traffic method you are using. i don’t know the type or what methods you have tried that hasn’t worked for you.

If perhaps you have a mentor, you should talk to him/her and they can provide something new for you to try out.

That said, I can give some tips. I use myself to get more attention And Traffic….

Am going to divide this post into two Parts:

PART A: FREE TRAFFIC METHODS.

1. SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media is one of my favorite tools for advertising, especially Facebook. Social media has turned everything into something of a “next-level”. It’s in our lives every day, as the food we eat in the morning, as the drink we take, and as the attendance we firsly mark always in the morning.

It’s all around us – not only because we want to share posts or videos or checking on our followers but it provides and carries news spreading all around faster than something else. So, try to be found on social media that relates to your business type or website.

Many of the social media offer some functions when you create a business account with them that you can use to make it easy for social media fans to visit your blog.

You can use any of  powerful media like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Pinterest, YouTube.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

• Join groups on Facebooks, when I mean groups, I mean groups related to your niche, join as many as possible, and post your blog links to each of them maybe 10 groups per day with an interesting title and picture.

• Add people that are interested in what you are doing or people that are talking about it, and post daily about your niche on your timeline.

You can be giving them inspirational posts or writing about what happened to you some days and how you overcame it using what you are promoting, just make sure you always link back to your blog post.

• Invite your friends on WhatsApp, use bulk SMS to invite your friends on your phone’s contacts, also after you have written a blog post, share it on your WhatsApp status and groups.

Same goes for Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.


Social media marketing is an effective way of getting blog traffic, but one thing is that, it seams difficult, because it takes time to maintain all your accounts across all social media you are using, but when set up consistently the traffic just keeps coming in without you doing anything.

2. SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

I can only assume, for beginners, SEO is not so well-known and they’re not familiar with the essence of the optimization doors in the house of search engines. Anyhow, I’ve collected some articles about that tools.

Keep in mind that, even if you don’t start optimizing your new website right away, at some point you’ll have to do it. It’s the only way you can achieve some great results. 

Adding Search Engine Optimizing to your website is a great opportunity to finish the cake we started cooking a while ago.

SEO takes some time ,but if done right can bring in productive results from Google. I remembered when I started blogging a long time ago, I optimized my website for SEO by downloading Yoast SEO plugin.

But one funny thing about this internet business is that you should never get tired of doing trial and error, one day just one day it will all make sense.

Although i researched more on relevant questions people ask from yahoo, forums and google so as to gain more idea on how to build a blog traffic.

3. FORUM MARKETING

Most bloggers and people I know specifically have had massive success with traffic doing forum marketing.
The first thing to do is to go on google and find forums related to the niche market you are promoting.

Say for example you promote a product on how to build up six packs, you’ll want to find a list of forums related to bodybuilding. Gaming, bodybuilding products, and so on, you can use Quora.


Once you’ve gotten it, sign up on all of them. And don’t forget to always write down your username and password on your notepad.
After signing up, create a profile for each of the forums and write down your signature text for each.

In case you are wondering what this is, “ the short bit of text that appears underneath every post you make, is your signature text”.
And NOTE For your signature text you’ll want to include a call to action.

Here’s an example; “Do you want to build up six packs from scratch? If so then check out (name of product) product right here”

Insert your affiliate link to the product you’re promoting in the form of a clickable link. This way once people read your call to action and then click on your affiliate link they’ll be taken to the product sales page.

Now don’t think everything is all set up just yet. All You’ve got to do now is to spend at least 30 minutes each day to be part of the forum communities by contributing and making teachable posts. Please note NO SPAMMING.

4. YOUTUBE

You can open a Youtube channel and make videos on anything related to your niche, it can be tutorials or product reviews, or motivation talks or anything at all.

I personally do not use youtube to get attention because I am not so good at videos and I do not have the time for it. However if you are someone who doesn’t shy on camera, you can make youtube videos on your channel.

Use catchy title tags and thumbnails on your videos, then link back to your blog or squeeze page

5. COMMENTING ON BLOG POST

You can opt in into different blogs and see which post has enough comments. Once you find them you can comment on each post with relevant write ups and link back to your blog.

Make it look like a form of suggestion for readers to learn more about what is being discussed. Don’t make it look like you are spamming

Most people do guest posting to other blogs for many reasons including getting paid,, but i didn’t care about getting paid, i just care about getting attention and followers to my websites

6. PHYSICAL CONTACT

Word of mouth with your physical friends and families.

To be candid, this is an advertising weapon that has been used for many years now and still has the same power. It’s one of the most efficient ways to get people to hear about you, know about you, and hopefully, like you.

The effectiveness comes from the trust that people have when they hear about something from someone else. According to Nielsen, 92% of consumers believe recommendations from friends and family over all forms of advertising.

Try to invite your friends and family to visit your blog and tell them about your business. They will be interested in seeing their friends hardworks.

7. BUILD RELATIONSHIPS

Speaking of people trusting you and talking to one another about you, we should not leave far behind the connection you will have with your customers. Being present for everyone, being there for them, is your start.

Start with creating a FAQ page to answer all their questions. Includes “subscribe” option, send them emails, talk to them when time is convenient for you to start support chat.

PART B: PAID TRAFFIC METHODS

There are lots of paid methods you cantry out, if however you are not on a tight budget. I will just mention a few right here..

8. SOCIAL MEDIA ADS

Facebook Ads: I tried Facebook ads just once and it worked out for me. I am still using Facebook ads till today because I get the result of exactly what I want.

Whenever you want to use Facebook ads, make sure you find someone to teach you so that you will not do it wrongly and lost a lot of money during that time.

Some people fail with Facebook ads maybe because they tried to learn it on their own without having the proper training and step by step method on how to do it.

Also I have seen lots of people getting results with Facebook ads, especially those that paid to learn the tactics of Facebook ads… To Get favorable results with this, look for someone who has been using Facebook ads and ask for his/her services, pay for it if necessary. It’s worth it.

You can also try using Instagram, twitter, and Quora Ads, just make sure you do a lot of research on how it works.

9. GOOGLE ADS

Google Ads is now a really great way to help small businesses and people who are just starting to promote their websites or their businesses.

It’s an opportunity to advertise your work at not such a high price and get good enough results. It helps you get to the right people at the right time

Furthermore, you will stand out of your competitors. Slowly you go up to the ladder of success. Make sure you find the right keywords, target on location, set the right budget, take care of your landing page, use search and display networks, and of course – track your results.

Open a google AdSense account if you don’t have any and pay for an ad. your ad will be displayed on search results, Also you may need a bit of researching on how to do this so that you can properly set it up.

10. ADS SELLING PLATFORM

• Udemy Ads

You can go to Udemy and buy solo ads. research and find a good contact to buy from by checking his/her review page if they deliver quality solos.

What you should be looking for is, if people are making sales with the solos they deliver and not just opt-ins I think you can see a solo for a $100 minimum depending on the amount of traffic you need.

• Warrior Forum

You can go over to warrior forum and buy ads on warrior forum depending on the number of clicks you want.

• Word Profit:

I have not used this one but a friend recommended it to me and am will still use it soon, i heard it delivers just the amount of traffic you need.. their charge is $99 per month but it’s totally worth it and recommendable.

11. CO-SPONSOR AN AWARD OR GIVEAWAY IN A CONTEST

This is something you need to do when you already gathered some speed. When you have enough content and followers, or users. Then you can start thinking of some marketing strategies.

Promotions and discounts are a great way to attract more and new people. Different occasions can create beautiful campaigns no matter if they’re just on social media or in Google too. After you feel ready, you can think of a sponsor to help boost your abilities.

Maybe you can even think of a giveaway in a contest. Create something interesting for your customers that it will involve them by sharing, commenting, or whatever you think of. Give them something after that to reward their time.

12. ORGANIZE A LAUNCHING PROGRAM.

Here’s my final tip for how to build a blog traffic or views. You can organize a program to promote your blog and notify the public that you are launching your blog.

You can also hold a contest which help you create custom campaigns to drive more traffics to your blog.

FINAL THOUGHT

That said you can dig around google to find what works best for you. One thing to always keep in mind is, you can’t just start a blog and expect to see results within 1 month or 2 months, you need to put in the work effort finding and applying different methods to see which works and which does not.

In this case, trial and error should be your best friend here and google should be your closest partner.

Always write Catchy and interesting Contents that will engage your audience into reading more on your blog. Your product page should also have an un-resistible call to action.

Doing all this will drag your audience attention into spending more time on your blog.

It always takes time. You may started seeing traffic to your blog within few months after you started.
Just make sure you apply numerous traffic methods both paid and free and i have patient.

With all these guides and strategies, I believe you would be able to make your first set of visitors within few days.
